Google Analytics:

When someone visits our website, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Reviews/ Comments:

Our WordPress based reviews/comments contains posts that visitors are able to comment on including reply to other comments. Every comment collects several parts of data from the visitor. A Name and Email address are required to comment, but only the name provided is shown publicly on the comment. The Website Address field is optional, but if included, will be added as a text link to the comment poster’s name. When visitors click on the name of a commenter, they will be taken to the website included in the comment form submission if one was added. (As external links are out of our control, we advise that you only click on comment poster names at your own discretion. If you find any comment, user, or external link to be offensive, inappropriate or spam and would like to report it, you can contact us via the contact form on the contact page of this website.)

To post a comment or reply also requires consent from the visitor by checking a consent confirmation button / checkbox before the submission can be sent. By consenting, you are formally acknowledging that you have read this Privacy Policy and are giving full consent to the collection, handling and storage of that data as outlined here.

As a comment can only be submitted by ticking the consent button, consent is automatically proven for all comments posted and logged. You should be able to edit or delete a comment you have made from a device with the same IP address on the front end, but it is your right to withdraw consent and request or remove your data at any time. If you are unable to do this from your side, then you can contact us via the contact form on our contact page and we will be able to do this for you.

Directory Reviews:

A review submission stores data similar to that of the commenting system above to which much of the same applies. To leave a review we require your Name, Email, a Title for the Review and the Review itself. A website address is optional but will be made public with the name and review. The email address is only viewable by admin. The review system also offers the option to upload images relevant to the review itself. These are stored in our system and database along with everything else but are made public on the specific review you have posted it to.

As a review can only be submitted by ticking the consent button, consent is automatically proven for all reviews posted and logged. You may not be able to remove or edit a review on the front end, but it is your right to withdraw consent and request or remove your data at any time. If you are unable to do this from your side, then you can contact us via the contact form on our contact page and we will be able to do this for you.

Directory Listings:

The content of the listings themselves contain information related to specific companies. This information is not collected by visitors in anyway and is only manually input by admin as approved by Remembrance Community Funeral Services. These companies have been given direct recommendation from Remembrance Community Funeral Services and have agreed to share the information listed on our directory. If for any reason you find information to be incorrect, inappropriate, or offensive in anyway, either as a visitor or by association of one of the companies listed, then please contact us via the contact form on the contact page.
